Empowering kids and having fun at day camps

When school’s out, DIVERSEcity is here with free day camp options that are not only fun for children and youth, but take an empowerment approach to confidence-building and finding belonging.

DIVERSEcity School’s Out Summer Camp

Free days camps for kids in Delta this July and August 2024 for children aged 6–12!

DIVERSEcity’s School’s Out Summer camp, in partnership with United Way British Columbia, is an accessible intercultural camp experience in Delta, BC. Our camps promote cross-cultural awareness, environmental responsibility, personal wellbeing and family involvement.

With a focus on hands-on, inquiry-based learning and building positive relationships, children take part in:

  • Games
  • Crafts
  • Library time
  • Daily outdoor activities

Registration priority

Indigenous and newcomer children and other children in the catchment area who are high-risk or facing barriers to summer camp opportunities.

Monday to Friday, 10 am – 2 pm

Every week between
July 15 – August 16, 2024

Held at Ladner Elementary or Sunshine Hills Elementary
