CELPIP Test

The CELPIP Test stands for the Canadian English Language Proficiency Index Program. The test allows you to demonstrate your ability to function in English and accurately assesses your English abilities in a variety of everyday situations.

CELPIP is the only Canadian English language proficiency test recognized by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) for permanent residency and citizenship. It is also accepted by the Real Estate Council of British Columbia and Immigration Consultants of Canada Regulatory Council.

Why choose CELPIP?

It’s fully computer delivered. The CELPIP Test provides test takers the opportunity to complete all test components in one test sitting, with no additional appointments or interviews.
You get quick online results. The results of the CELPIP Test are available online in eight business days. Test takers can also choose to add Express Rating so that scores are available online in just three business days.
It’s Canadian and uses Canadian accents. The CELPIP Test is 100 per cent Canadian and uses Canadian accents. Test takers who have been living and working in Canada will better understand and relate to the Canadian accents used in the CELPIP Test.

There are two versions of the CELPIP Test: the CELPIP-General Test and the CELPIP-General LS Test.
