Are you new to Surrey? Join us this #WelcomingWeek for our Newcomer Open House, an informative and engaging event designed to help you settle in Surrey.
Our Newcomer Open House will provide you with essential information, introduce you to community organizations and help you feel at home in Surrey.
- Visit information booths to learn about free resources and services for newcomers from English classes, to employment programs, to housing help, to programs for the whole family
- Meet and connect with other people in the community
- Listen to Surrey Mayor Brenda Locke officially proclaim #WelcomingWeek at 1 pm
- Have fun and enjoy interactive activities
- Get some swag giveaways!
This family-friendly event is free and open to all. Join us at the outdoor Surrey Civic Plaza (13450 104 Avenue, Surrey, BC) on Wednesday, September 11, 2024, 12–4 pm.
Feel free to drop in anytime during the event hours and explore the various booths and activities available. Staff and volunteers will be on hand to guide you and answer any questions you may have. No registration required.
