Take a field trip with us to your local library! Learn how to use the free resources at your
local library as a gateway to lifelong learning, personal development and community
connection. This new workshop introduces newcomers to the wealth of free resources and
services available at their local library. Access the library’s computer lab and learn how to
“surf the web” as well as how to:
- Use the computers to connect to dozens of community resources, services and local
community events - Use the online library catalogue to find books that you can borrow for free
- Use the self-checkout machines and more!
