Why support DIVERSEcity?

Elsewhere on this website you’ll find details about who we are and what we do — the thousands of newcomers and underserved populations we serve every year, the broad and growing number of innovative programs and free services we offer, the many languages we speak to provide these services, our commitment to fair wages for the more than 200 employees who work so hard for our clients and the hundreds of volunteers we could not function without.

Every year, 10,000 immigrants settle in Surrey, Langley, Delta and White Rock, including more than a thousand refugees. Surrey is, in fact, the fastest-growing city in BC. There are so many people to help, and so many ways that DIVERSEcity can help them. We also help the most vulnerable of our immigrant and refugee populations access necessities and emergency needs.

You can help, too. While the lion’s share of DIVERSEcity’s funding arrives from federal and provincial governments, and we thank them, a proportion must come from other sources, including your donations.
