We recently hosted an immunization clinic right here at DIVERSEcity Surrey Community Campus! The vaccine clinic is tailored with cultural considerations in mind and participants received language support, snacks, prizes and the opportunity to ask a medical professional direct questions. A safe space to share concerns and hesitations about immunizations, the clinic was a day of sharing information, connecting and taking steps to protect their health and their community! Thank you to the wonderful nurses from Fraser Health for being on site to administer the vaccines and answer any questions! The next clinic is set for a little over one week from now on December 7!
