Canada stands as the world leader in immigration policy, and our country continues to prove the economic and cultural benefits of opening our doors to future Canadians. At DIVERSEcity, we connect people, cultivate opportunities, bridge communities and advocate for inclusivity of all. Our vision calls on us to measure success in terms of how we contribute to the wellbeing of the people and communities we serve.
During our 45-years of service to Surrey, Langley, Delta, White Rock and beyond, we have assisted tens of thousands of newcomers and other British Columbians to find employment, learn English, find housing, deal with family challenges, work through mental health issues and access medical care. We have provided services for families, children, youth, seniors, members of the LGBTQ+ community, those with disabilities, survivors of violence and skilled professionals.
We are proud to engage approximately 300 volunteers and are one of Surrey’s largest employers with more than 200 staff and 300+ individuals employed within our two social enterprises. We are committed to diversity, equity and gender equality, from our classrooms to offices to board rooms.
We value our many partnerships with community organizations, school districts, health care professionals, local businesses, post-secondary institutions, First Nations and community stakeholders.
