Generous charitable donation for DIVERSEcity Community Resources Society from Vancouver corporate firm
At DIVERSEcity, our work in strengthening communities and empowering people to realize their potential is done in collaboration with many partners, including corporate supporters like Thomas Downie Holdings Ltd. The Vancouver-based firm recently donated $25,000 to DIVERSEcity in support of our self-employment programs.
This Giving Tuesday, we would like to give an enthusiastic thank you to Thomas Downie Holdings Ltd., for its support.
“We are so appreciative of this generous donation from Thomas Downie Holdings Ltd. It is significantly boosting the reach and success of our self-employment programming. Your donation enables us to further our impact in providing tailored supports for diverse entrepreneurs looking to launch or scale their small businesses,” says Vandna Joshi, Director, Social Entrepreneurship, DIVERSEcity.
Through our self-employment programs, DIVERSEcity helps people explore business ideas, launch their business and plan for success, supporting them with information and resources they need.
Starting in 2025, DIVERSEcity Skills Training Centre, a DIVERSEcity social enterprise, will also be offering an Essential Self-Employment Skills course to amplify the knowledge of our program to a broader audience.
It’s with the support of corporate partners like Thomas Downie Holdings Ltd. that DIVERSEcity as a registered charity DIVERSEcity can advance our work, support people and build stronger communities.
